Ok.. running the 87 tune on 87 octane fuel.. Only mods to the truck are dual in, dual out magnaflow exhaust and an airaid CAI.
I used the canned 87 tune with the exception of disabling MDS.
Now... I've done several WOT take-offs to 75-80mph or so and also drove around normally. Here's what I've collected:
Worst KNK readings during Normal Driving...
0.50 KNK ST @ 1748 RPMS
1.0 KNK ST @ 1809 RPMS
Never got KNK LT during normal accelerations.
Worst KNK readings during WOT runs to 75-80MPH (I did 3 of these but they were all close to the same #'s):
5.0 KNK ST @ 3676 RPMS
1.0 KNK LT @ 4274
5.50 KNK ST & 1.0 KNK LT @ 4410 RPMS
I understand knk lt to be bad?... so what changes should I make? Or should I just change fuel or what? This is BP 87 octane fuel.
