Problem with Engine Start-up

Background, bought a used Ram 1500. It came with only one key fob. So after a week of driving it around with no problems, I go to a dodge dealership to get a second key made. The next morning I wake up and try to fire the truck up with the old key and it will not turn over using the fob. I use the remote start and the truck fires up the first time. So I have tried doing it with the new key and get the same problem (here is a video of the problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRxH8M9obBQ ). Take the truck in to the dealership, they run diagnostics and say the fuel pump is going bad. This answer didn't make much sense to me because the truck fires up with remote start, but not with turning the key fob(should also say that once the truck has been fired up with using the remote start and turn the truck off, you actually can fire it up with the fob). So not knowing the differences between how a truck fires up different between key turn and remote start I reluctantly agree to have the fuel pump changed. However, next day I try to start the truck using the fob and it doesn't work. So looking to see if anyone else has had this issue or has an idea of what it could be. I feel like it has to be an electronic issue vs a mechanical one, but that is just a guess.

Yes, when they program a new key into the truck they also need to "reprogram" the existing key at the same time. i ran into that problem when I got my extra key for my Challenger. The old key didn't start the car anymore but the new one worked just fine....
