Well, after no call this morning, curiosity got the best of me so I called for an update. They're still troubleshooting, not really sure where the problem is. Next step is to drop the gas tank to take a look at the mechanical/electrical components there.

Looks like I'm rolling in this Titan for a while longer. The thing was so covered in pollen that I actually washed it today. Of the many things I miss about my Ram, I am surprisingly really missing having a backup camera. At least for me, I really didn't realize how dependent I've become on using that when backing up in addition to the mirrors. Eh well.

Thanks, but at this point I do feel like they are doing all they can do as far as looking into the problem. Hoping to hear something by the end of the day today, or certainly tomorrow.

Got my truck back last night. They replaced something called an FTP, which me being an IT nerd, I learned it's NOT File Transfer Protocol lol. The gas tank had to be dropped to gain access. The mechanic said there was a small evaporative leak, which was in turn throwing the code. So I'm hoping this is the final fix. Will keep the thread updated.

I don't want to hijack your post but, I took mine in and they reset the P0456 code and did a smoke test with no fault found.

I will see if it returns
Hey, that’s what’s great about the forumz, sharing information amongst members. I don’t drive my truck much, but I’ve been dealing with the P0456 code since early February/500 Miles. I’ve had the charcoal canister replaced, along with the hoses and tubes that go along with it. This week they replaced the FTP (fuel tank pressure?) module. I’m hoping this is the fix for mine. Maybe mention this to your service department as well. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Well the check engine light came back, P0456 code again; back to the dealer again......
Just checking in. Any update on your truck? Just curious about what the culprit is and if it's the same as mine.

So mines been good for a little over a month now. Purge solenoid didn't fix then replaced fuel tank didn't fix then some other sensor i cannot remember for the life of me today but was around filler neck or something. When i went to get my truck didn't say a word held my rental keys out until he handed me mine and walked out. Better off that way especially since there were like 2 older couples in there. Total joke on the service center here in Spokane. When you don't get only 1 call with no message and try for days to talk to someone on phone but they just let all go to voicemail. Knock on wood it stays off. but did have backup camera start rolling the other day but messed with the plugs and been ok since.

Got the truck back again and they said while watching the data stream they noticed the pressure sensor data was consistently low.

Replaced the pressure sensor, we will see it if works :thk:
How ya making out? I had a fuel pressure sensor go up in my 2015 Hemi at around 18k miles.

Hoping you're running CEL free for a while my friend!
