This isn’t really about street racing. But it may help if you know what I’m talking about.
Ok hopefully the image is attached. I spilled Track Bite in the bed of my truck. In the spray in liner. If you don’t know this is VHT. Basically a traction compound used in drag racing. Well the crap will not come out. I’ve tried cutting it with MEK and a butt load of water and the pic attached is the result. So now I’m back on the fourms asking you guys for help. Any ideas how to get this crap out of the bed?

Not sayin set it on fire or anything. If you have sort of a hidden spot a little heat or maybe even heat gun or the wifes hairdryer on high. Something with some heat to it and see if it gets it liguid again. Power washer hooked to hot water supply? Heck if you were here in Fla that stuff would probably be running out the bed it has been so hot.

Yea I’m planning to leave my cover back on the bed one of these days we get a strong rain and see how it effects it. I know over time the shit breaks down. Atleast on the street or track that’s what it does.

I will try and put some heat to it and see what it does.

By the way I did email PJ1 the company that makes the stuff. I got a email back saying failure. So i don’t think their email is even good anymore.

Sounds like you have tried strong solvents to no avail. This is a suggestion as I have not tried this: Sodium Hydroxide, basically oven cleaner. Test a small spot first. This is a very strong base (not acid). Wear gloves and eye protection. It will burn the skin and damage your eyes. Let us know if you are successful.

Be sure to keep it away from aluminum alloy.
