Tuner quetson

Do you have the trans upgrade? and did you you just download it from SC?

 

no i did not buy the trans upgrade, when you download this new update it puts the software for the extra trans adjustability on your tuner but i guess you probably have to buy it to unlock it. that is definitely one of the nicer features of the superchips as apposed to the diablo sport you can updates your tuner at any time with the cable that they supply and the update are all free just download their update program to your laptop or pc.

LOL! is this the first/only tuner you've ever owned?

I've used a Bully Dog GT, Superchips Cortex and most recently a Diablosport Trinity.
ALL can certainly be updated for free on line, with the supplied cable at any time just by plugging into your PC.

With DiabloSport they will even write a custom personalized tune that's vehicle specific to YOUR mods and email it to you...completely FREE.
Everyone I know who has added a performance cam/headers is running a custom CMR tune from Diablo.
There's a lot more options for timing, spark advance, fuel trims etc. that are just not readily available through any other tuner manufacturer.
I'm currently shifting at 6400 RPM with my Trinity (because I Drag Race mine) No other tuner can match that.

BTW, Superchips was the last one to unlock both hidden rev limiter codes for the higher shift points...5900+
Bully Dog and Diablo unlocked it a year ago...Superchips just got it figured out last month, the reason for the most recent update.

The canned tunes for a basically stock 4G Ram are about the same for all tuners,
The only significant advantage (IMHO) from Superchips is their trans tuning option for setting up custom shift schedules
....that you have to pay $40 more for, and you dont even have unlocked.

 

Damn my computer broke down about two months ago, guess my girlfriend is going to have another one of my awesome updates to her computer, LOL! At least until I fully rebuild my engine then its SCT tuner/dyno time!

 

Hate to break this to you, but the latest superchips update is for the 4G Hemi Rams,
not 3G 4.7's , did you take a wrong turn somewhere? LoL
