Yes, I believe you can look up the sales codes by the VIN, although I don't know the website to do that (I'm sure others can help). There should be a sales code starting with the letter D that defines the type of transmission (such as DGT for a 46RE transmission).

If it's a Cummins, then it's 48RE. If it's a 5.7, then it's a 545RFE. Don't need the VIN lol.

 

Thank you all. Its a 5.7 Hemi. So the 545RFE, is that a 4 or 5 spd automatic? Do you count reverse as one of those?


Any idea where to get a factory service manual for his 07'?

545RFE is a 5-speed (not including Reverse).
