The one on the rear of the console comes standard with it switched with the ignition, but they made a provision to just move a fuse over one spot to make it constantly on. This is covered in the owners manual. Sorry I don't remember the fuse number off hand.

It is fuse F90/F91, You literally just shift it like half a spot.

 

 

I wished they had the same provisions for the front outlets as I have done the rear but I don't normally put plugs in the rear when no one is back there.

 

I made a jumper and put a fuse in it and now I have live power outlets in front.

 

This is what I want! It makes me mad that I can't charge my cell phone in this truck unless I've got the thing running, or the key is in the ignition turned to ACC! Could you please tell me EXACTLY what you did to accomplish this, Jerry? Thanks a lot!

 

The reason they have them as keyed only is because people leave cheap chagers plugged in all the time which could over heat and start a fire... I saw that on 20/20 ��

 

I just did mine. Thanks for the picture. My eyes aren't working like they used to. I was having a hard time reading the numbers on the fuse panel door. I almost gave up till tomorrow but I looked at your picture to guide me. It was pretty easy.

 

Has anyone taken the center console out and run a jumper wire between the two power outlets, or done any other messing around in there? My thought was to swap the wires to the power outlets, so the one in my centre console was constant-on, and the one in the rear seat was switched. Thoughts?

 

Put a jumper in the fuse box to a hot terminal. Just put an inline fuse in the wire. Much simpler.
