I have a 2001 Dodge 2500 with a V10. My son blew up the motor with 240,000 miles on it. I got a motor out of a junkyard with 170,000 from a 98 Ram. Kept all the original wiring, fuel rail, injectors, coil packs, etc. The engine will not start nor does it have spark if I crank on it but if I just bump the starter it will fire after a couple tries. Was not doing this before with the other engine. ASD is putting power through to the coil packs. Tested the coil packs. Tested and also swapped out both the crank position sensor and cam position sensor. Anyone have any other ideas on this matter.
