I just picked up my new RAM 1500 less than a week ago, but I have a question about the automatic rain-sensing wipers.
What happens if I go through a car wash??? Do they just turn on and start flopping all over the place and then break?
I asked my salesman, and he told me that no one has ever asked him that before, and he told me that I should hand wash my car and wipe it off with diapers from "Babies R Us."
I didn't really care for his explanation, so I asked the service manager who told me that he's never been asked that before either, we live in Arizona and don't get much rain, but he thinks that the sensors know how hard the water pressure is, and turn off automatically, so it won't be a problem.
Does anyone know? Are they really auto or do I have to turn them on and off. I really don't have a clue as to how they work, and the mini, owners manual really was no help to me. Please advise.
