I was a little horrified when I read on this forum a couple weeks ago, plugs are to be replaced every 30,000. At 65,500 I just changed them. I think the one tool that made the job easier was the Lockit spark plug socket. First don't have anything to do with the company. I spent 10 years on a tool truck and knew before I did this job I was going to buy a 5/8 Lockit before I started. It's claim to fame is the fact that it grips the plug by the hex and not with a rubber boot on the porcelain. Using this method it's impossible to break the porcelain. It's also a thin wall that works well in the narrow tube. With a both a 3 and a 1 inch wobble extension along with this socket it really not too bad of a job. As far as I know none of the mobile tool trucks carry the Lockit, you can only buy it on-line and get hosed with $14.95 UPS :Wow1:.http://www.lockitsocket.com/index.php?page=contact_us
