Just measured mine. With trailer hitch on and a slightly larger bumper on the front I am at 21 feet. An 8 foot wall should get the job done but would be tight I think. When I built my garage I went 24 wide 30 deep and 10 foot walls, lots of room even with my truck parked in it. OOps, I see you have a crew cab so you are a little shorter.

Mine is a yard child ever since I have it. Don't even lock it- to steal it, you would have to pass a alarm- lab, a alarm- pit, alarm goats and an alarm poodle- latest then, you would have to overcome a .357 projectile. Means- it's unlikely anyone gets near my truck.

 

When I bought my house 4 years ago, my truck fitting in the garage was a requirement. Clearing frost, ice and snow off every morning for 5 months is a PITA. I can park my truck in the garage with a work bench in front of it. If I move my workbench I can park my truck inside with the plow on it; great for winter repairs.

I'm not concerned with anyone stealing my truck; I have a German Shepherd, alarm, cameras, and you can even choose the caliber you want confronting you from .22 up to 12 ga. I'm concerned with winter, getting soaked when it's raining, and making sure my wife doesn't have to deal with all the aforementioned stuff.

I also had a requirement of the garage being on the same level as the main house because I got tired of carrying groceries up flights of stairs at all my previous homes. Why not make life easier.

237.9 inches = 19.825 feet
In the 2019 Ram Crew Cabs with the 6' 4" bed are 242" long, so figure 20.2416 feet without a Tow Hitch

Quad Cab stock height is 77.5" , additional height will be needed for a 4 X 4 , you need to add even more height for the Sirius Antenna for all models

all Cab Models width are 79.4" or 6.616 feet without mirrors
