Fuel sender is in the pump unit so you have to pull the bed or drop the tank and replace the pump unit. Its worth doing yourself if you're up to it

 

Well, I fixed it!


I took a rubber mallet and gave the underside of the fuel tank some whacks and the gas gauge is working again!

 

Well I guess I need a bigger hammer to make mine work.🤣🤣🤣

 

Love this, when all else fails, bang on it. Like the TVs from the sixties.

 

go pick up somechevron techron fule additive and clean things up. i love thestuff. use it when the fuel gaugein my kids lesabre gets stuck.

 

Hey, Caleb. I'm just wondering if you ever had any additional issues with your fuel gauge? I've got a 2017 Ram that had the same issue for a week, then just started working again by itself on a 30 minute drive to the dealership to get it fixed. There's nothing they can do now that it's working again... Thank you!
