Hey guys I'm new to the forum and am in need of some pointers. I'm not overly familiar with the 4.7l motors in this truck and i just purchased one. it ran fine for 3 weeks and now the front 4 cylinders are not firing at all and it is throwing a code for injector number one open circuit. I have gone over the diagrams for fuel and ignition circuits and can't find anything that directly ties those 4 cylinders together on the wiring side. any and all help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

p0300 is a generic code, it does not point to any particular cylinder, it just states that there is a misfire
p0301 indicates misfire on cylinder #1
p0302 indicates misfire on cylinder #2
p0304 indicates misfire on cylinder #4
With these 3, you need to check for
Faulty spark plug or wire
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s) <-- check front sensor(s) with a heat gun, watch youtube videos
Faulty fuel injector
Running out of fuel
Burned exhaust valve
Poor compression
Faulty catalytic converter(s) <-- check exhaust for rotten egg smell
Defective computer
