Try this, Go under your truck on the drivers side towards the rear of the fuel tank you will see the wire harness to the sensors on the top of the tank. Reach up and grip them to re secure their connection. I did this and my light went right out!!!

 

Just had this happen on my 17 Tradesman the other day! Dealer has a new pump/gauge module ordered and I have an appt for the fix. Will check the wiring too! Thanks.

Had my CEL come on last week, yup P0463 code, gas gauge stuck at half tank for a week, dropped off at dealer this morn at 9am already called me said no charge still under the 3/36 no diagnostic fee either since it was OEM sensor.
I have just flipped 20k 2014 Ram..seems to be a common problem.and having the computer update recall done also, be ready by 3..ARMORY GARAGE is legit been going there since 2000.Best upstate RAM dealer by far. Marlon is my service advisor.

 

well picked Ram up after work come to find out they had to replace the whole fuel pump along with the sensor, reason being they said plastic ring or the housing on the fuel pump was cracked, 0 charge 0 diagnostic fee due to being defective OEM part and sensor. True professionals at Armory.

yes it was covered thank god..expires on november 30th, might be thinking about getting a mopar extended

Dang man. Did a little light 4-wheeling today. My check engine light came on when I got home. It pulled the po463 signal. Came here did exactly what you said right in front of the advance and it was gone. Thanks a lot!!!!!!
