My opinion is just go after market tree Bluetooth streaming (stock) has sound quality issues

 

That sucks..was hoping to keep it as cheap as possible.

 

You might want to check out a company from Sweden called Customtronix

In 2010 the Ram had the RER 730N & in 2011 they had the RHR 730N

Then buy a plug & play radio & sell your current radio to make the cost more comfortable

Before you go through the expense of replacement, look into updating the firmware. Version 2.700 significantly improves Bluetooth performance. I am able to connect a iPhone 7 and stream audio/Waze without issue. My radio is a 2011 730N RHR. My biggest complaint is the "Phone call complete" after every call.

 

I'll give it a shot. Do you just download the file onto a usb and plug into the head unit?

 

On the Crutchfield website, they have after market radios & wiring harnesses that let you keep your steering wheel controls
