Hey all,
So I knew my 2010 1500 inside and out when it came to fitting wheels and tires but I find a lot of conflicting opinions when it comes to fitting 35's on a stock height 3rd gen 2500. My reading has brought me to this point where I'm looking for confirmation from those who have done it.
SO you can fit 35's on stock height 2500 on stock rims but will rub the control arms at full lock. My truck came with brand new winters mounted on the stock rims so I'm looking at purchasing a new 17" rim and tire combo for the summer. I do not want to level/lift the truck, I bought it for plowing the 3km of unmaintained forest road to my house and don't want to stress the front end any more than I have to and I want the truck to still fit in the garage.
I'm looking for a wheel offset that will give me clearance with no real trimming and not stick out to far. +18mm to + 25mm seems to be the offset that fits the bill. Now my question is is this true? Any of you actually running this set up or have in the past? It just seems crazy stuffing 35's under a stock height truck with no rubbing but hey, if I can I will!
