i never see big horn listed as a trim for the 1500, i assume because it's just a 'package' that was available? what is the actual level of the truck? sport, slt etc?

It's not based on anything. It includes everything from the SLT and then it has additional features like badging and 20's. Mechanically it will be most similar to the SLT package but the Big Horn/Lonestar is a separate configuration. Hope this helps.
