Where is the inside fuse box panel?

I am looking for the inside fuse box.

Yes, I did read the owners manual. The manual just states it is located under the steering column. I also did a search on here.

I’ve checked. The knee panel is bolted in and not easily removable. It is unlikely the panel would not be accessible.

There is a small removable access door under the headlight switch but that is the shift lock mechanism for towing to get the vehicle in neutral etc.

Has anyone found the inside fuse box?

Also, where is the obd port? I don’t need that now but good to know where it is.

Some clues or pics would be great.

Are we talking about a 13 or a 19? This si in the 19 section but OP's information says he has a 13.

Why is this difficult?

OK, I have a MY 2019.
OBD port located just to the left of the drivers side floor lamp mounted with access pointed down.

The Interior Power Box is actually about 1"-2" under the dash above the OBD/drivers side light under the dash. That box is mounted in there good and the fuses actually are mounted in the fuse box "vertical" facing towards the driver.

I Learned something new.....

Well that fuse box position sucks

That interior fuse box is barely accessible from anywhere.

Thanks for the tip because I would have never thought to look so deeply under a panel that isn’t easily removable.

I couldn’t even get a good pic. That’s how buried it is.

Yeah its a stupid place for that fuse box, they should have kept it up on the left hand side of the dash where the 3rd and 2nd gen rams all had them it was crazy simple to access. One more reason I kept both my 3rd gens to fix body panels on and keep them on the road. The new truck is the one I run through winter salt haha.

Hopefully a year later your not still trying to figure out how to get to your fuse box. :)

There are two 9/32 screws holding the "knee panel" in place. Take those out then there are 6 "pop" clips holding it in. Just gently pull it toward you and you'll have full access to the fuses.
