I’m getting frustrated here. I changed the purge valve, no dice. Tried a new gas cap, no dice. I’ve cleared the codes every time I’ve tried something new. Could it be the sensor? I went by the parts store and their comp didn’t even show it in the search,so I’m guessing I’ll have to get a Mopar if that’s it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The 6.4" Truck Hemi does have EGR, but I don't think that would have anything to do with an evap code

Sorry for the delay fellas, I was waiting to try some stuff.

Nah, I"m about 10k out of the bumper to bumper part. Even if it was, it's more hassle to sit up there waiting than do it myself and then go to work.

All that said, today I replaced the evap integrity module that fastens onto the canister. I was looking for the evap sensor on ebay and emailed my VIN to a mopar dealer and they recommended trying this first because they go out and you'll chase a leak forever and it'll be the module.

No dice.

All vehicles have a federal emissions warranty

Hell, I downloaded the wrong manual. I knew they all had a warranty, but for some reason I was thinking they told me mine was 36k.

I still hate to deal with taking it in, that's a full day of NOTHING accomplished.

UPDATE: After about 24-36hrs sitting the comp finished a reset...I guess? EVAP code is gone! The module worked. It's odd that even though I used the i3 scanner to reset everything it had to do it on its own.
