Can active grill shutters be retro-fitted?

I'm wondering if I can install Active Grille Shutters to my 16 sport? Is the harness there? Does it have to be programmed by a dealer to make them work if the harness is there?

Thanks.

On YouTube, i saw a video where the guy had the Active Grille Shutters & one or two of the shutters was not working.
While he was attempting to make the repair, he said that he could fix it in the vehicle, but he took the shutters out so that he could film it for us to see what he was doing.
He also talked about replacing the whole assembly if something could not be repaired simply.

I think it is one of these videos by MotorCity Mechanic

Your grille may make it harder, but you should be able to see them through the grille. Also if you lift the insulator over the radiator when the hood is up you can see them. It comes off with only 4 push type fasteners

I've had my grille out twice and noticed that piece there. To make sure I have it, there's nothing LIKE that there if there is no AGS right?

I was searching for a nice winter front and didn't see anything I liked so I figured AGS would be the best option. I haven't noticed my truck running colder than usual so that makes me quite confident I have AGS now that people tell me it's supposed to be there already.

Which trim doesn't come with it besides the Rebel? I assumed this would be something only offered on higher end models like the Laramie.

I ran my vin and checked the options. It's got AGS. Awesome.

And to the post above me, your extreme weather is a cool summer day where I'm from. We live in igloos, remember?

They don't do that much, except on a Semi Truck, big trucks without AGS still use radiator covers in Winter

Fractionally better streamlining, i would have to guess that it isn't measurable on a smaller vehicle
A winter bra will keep snow, ice & dirty sludge from building up on your A/C & Transmission Condensers & Radiator

For everyone above that says they don't have them have you pulled up a build sheet to see if it is listed? I wonder if a bunch of Rams came out without them by mistake. I doubt it though since if it was supposed to have them and Ram forgot to put them in, it should throw a code since they aren't plugged in. They have more to do with speeding up engine & transmission heating than aerodynamics even if Ram says they make it more aerodynamic. 0.5% of 20 MPG is not anything someone would even notice.
