I just received my RA4 radio from LKQ and plugged it in. It is working (except for the security code needed). The question I have is, on my RA3 and the RA4, there are the following plugs. One is not used on my RA3 or the RA4. Anyone know what its used for?

White: FM/AM analog
Green: Navigation?
Light Purple: ????
Dark Purple:Sirius?

Thanks!

I think I found the answer from another thread. Can someone confirm?

You wont need a extra antenna for the gps, our sat radio antenna is the one the gps shares. If you do not have the rear view mirror without the assist and 911 buttons you will get a "have mirror serviced error on the screen after you start the truck, hit ok and no more error message. Only when you start the truck but the radio works fine otherwise.

I don't know for sure, but the shark fin antenna should have that dual function
otherwise it would have a roof mounted puck type antenna & the GPS antenna would be located just above the radio, inside of the dash

Update: All is good! After receiving the security code from navrepair.com, everything worked. Now its just the matter or reprogramming my stations. Bluetooth, navigation, HVAC controls, backup cam, HD radio, sirius (need to transfer subscription). It was as simple as plug and play. The siriusxm and gps are the same antenna. I have to perform the system upgrade as the system has the old version on it.
