Well, considering I'm a farm guy complete with a 3,800 sqft. barn, I found this bumper mounted crane from Western Mule interesting. It stows away neatly. It could not only help at the barn, but with cutting fire wood. I thought I'd provide a link in case others have needs. R...

I 100% agree with your observations. I'm calling tomorrow, I've got the 12v hookup on the left side of the bed just up from the tailgate (used for the gooseneck trailer). I'll have to make up a pigtail. I'm hoping they can price it without their winch. Oh yeah, it's for my 98 1500 (which has the gooseneck ball, for a cow trailer). It's got that crap of chrome bumper that's rusting.

I think it could be handy on the farm.

Loading/unloading generators, tool boxes in the barn, planting large nursery trees, unload square bales, feeding the fish in a stocked pond, loading lumber, loading logs, cutting firewood keeping your saw out of the dirt and it all folds up in the bumper.
