Between the two examples that have been shared, I am personally leaning toward the arched version on dodgert's truck. The straight strip seems too blocky for our Rams.

Hmmm i wonder if the chrome type tint would accent the ram and stock bubbly tint stuff..?
I am one for chrome, but I would think chrome tint would be too much. That being said, I've never heard of chrome tint nor have I seen it.. but it just sounds like it wouldn't look right.

heres a couple of mine havent ever had an issue and u dont see the ram emblem or anything like that in it and its 5% love it but im well below the ansi line

heres one of my others

not really if it extends below the ansi line unless the area you are in has a problem with window tint. I personally have never had an issue yet. I used to actually go 3-4" lower than it with complete black or white vinyl but on my last three trucks im only 2 1/2" below it so it covers the spot where the rear view mirror mounts and my tint guy actually cuts the tint so it doesnt eyebrow as much. he sometime uses the limo tint which is i believe like a 2.5%

Cant have chrome tint its like a mirror think only fla allows it

When I did mine I had the tint guy trim out the tint around the RAM head logo so that it "pops", or stands out. Think it looks pretty cool. Mine is radiused like dodgerts and is at the ansi line, so in the middle it doesn't cover the pixels where they drop down. I think I'm gonna get mine redone so that it goes straight across so that it will cover all the pixels.

no worries that what we do hahaha

Do you have a picture of this??

it does not start at the bottom straight dark but has like a couple of inches where its light and then fads to dark up to the top of the cab, not sure that explains it well,
So it is darkest in the center and fades out towards the edges. Nope, I'm clear.. thanks for the explanation.

Thanks for the pics brother! Sorry for the jack OP:str:
It's totally on topic, so no worries! I ain't gonna hunt you down or nothin. :box2:

What did you link you mean my truck well mines 100% legal by ga laws
But it is not legal by IA laws(where my truck is going to be registered soon and I am from/will be returning to).

And it says you live in princeton is that nj i lived there for 20 years so ya they are strick on tint
Princeton North Carolina.

Here are a couple of pics of the straight across tint that I have on mine. I like the tint since my drive to and from work is always driving into the sun.

That is EXACTLY what I want!

Is it really a huge problem if this brow tint extends below the AS1 line?
only if it is deemed illegal.

Asur - What do you mean by the gradient look?
the gradient look will fade from clear to dark gradually over a given distance
