I can do the same with mine and it has 355's, although i dont have the LS rear end. With these "awesome" goodyear's if there's any water on the road, they roast off pretty easy. Nonetheless, nice video.

I have 3.73's, no traction control and while I have to work at it to get mine to turn over, I really have to watch it coming out of a wet corner...LOL

 

Ummm yeah, maybe next time, post a video with your foot OFF the brakes.
Any fool can powerbrake an do burnouts all day long with most any gear ratio.

Thete aint no need for name callin. And a lot of trucks still want turn them over if you powrt break em.

i got 4.56s in my 03 with 37s and now n the i leave more tire on the road then i mean too.... but when its slightly wet i have to relearn how to drive after a dry spell...........

 

Yep my 4.7L has 3.55 and with the stock goodyears it would roast them (open diff), with my new coopers I have to power brake to get them to turn, and honestly it sometimes won't do it depending on the surface. In the rain though with any 2-3 ton vehicle it is just scary how little traction you have lol. It seems like sometimes when I powerbrake one wheel spins, and other times both spin.

I can't wait to change to 4.10 and put the converter in, although I'll then have LSD so I'll probably be right back to square one traction wise lol.

(now have an Edge 3000 stall and it's Insane how much rubber I can burn at less than half throttle)
Beating down R/T's with 4.10's/LSD's...no problemo on my DR's

Next Spring I'm installing a Detroit TruTrac and 4.56's , with 4 dedicated 28" drag radials at the track in AWD = low 13 second truck maybe 12's

Yes I must admit that I did get some help from the brake in the very begining but when you see me sliding back and forth and hauling ass down the road that was all truck my friend. Dont hate cause I can and you cant.

Was just having fun cause I am getting new sneakers.

Nope, and the brake lights would show that. It just makes that much torque. That, and I have The Clutch Of Jesus. A southbend dual disk will handle a 3rd gear launch with no problems. That's why the complete clutch setup including billet input shaft and upgraded hydraulics costs $2500 instead of $900 like a big single.
