Can someone please explain the what the quad headlights are? Is it a quad if it has 1 buld for high and 1 buld for low (the other option being 1 bulb for high and low)?

The 2 lamp system has 1 bulb for Hi/Low
The 4 lamp system (Quad) has individual bulbs for Hi & Low.
In the 4 lamp system, the low bulb is on for both Hi & Low beam operation, while the Hi the Hi bulb is 'added', and fog lights are turned off (if they were on).
The 2 lamp system uses an H13 bulb
The 4 lamp system uses an H11 for Low and a 9005 for Hi.
Yup that helps. I am looking at new headlights and assumed that Quad meant quad for both headlights (4 bulbs Total). Just need to double check before I spent $250-$500 on new new headlights
Don't have em yet, need to decide on some It has to get passed by the budget committee too (aka wife) or be squired away unnoticed. I want something smoked/black and I want HID's in em, 55's if I can.
Ya won't need 55W units...honest...and beware...they get a bit hot so it may create some heat or melting issues with your headlights, depending on air volume.
For HID's I'd also suggest you look at projectors. They really help focus the light beam. Stock capsules tend to scatter the HID light.
Right, I'm definitely looking at projectors. I've read some guys have gotten some of the projectors and complain that they are not bright enough with the 35w HID's. Spyder's in particular, I've also read that the Recon and Spyders are the same anyways. I'm not sure if this is true as some people sear by Recon (they better w/ as much as they cost!).
I ordered the wrong bulbs for my truck,i ordered the h13 sylvania silverstars but i need the h11.....I wish dodge would have just made this simple....lol,,,,if anyone needs these 13's i will sell them for cheap...20 shipped...let me know
